A New Deadpool Teaser Gives Us Mirth Before The Merc

Deadpool faithful, thy time draws near. Weeks after what might have been Comic Con’s most talked-about footage—and talked-about bootleg—it seems that we’re a mere day away from getting a look Fox’s next Marvel joint (we know, we get confused too). The pre-trailer teaser might not be a marketing phenomenon we love, but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t enjoy an amuse-bouche before the big chimichanga. Come for the Ryan Reynolds, stay for the hyper-pompous voiceover and rich mahogany!

I was not much into Deadpool until I saw the test footage and then also found some game footage that made it an underground hit. This antihero out to be a hit and a role Reynolds was born for.

Deadpool First Trailer: Ryan Reynolds Really Is Doing Another Superhero Movie

Ryan Reynolds is back as a costumed superhero, except this time it doesn’t look like a steaming pile of horse manure. This is the trailer for the live action Deadpool movie.

As advertised, it’s not exactly a safe-for-work trailer. Warnings include gratuitous butt, blood and language.

Deadpool hits cinemas in February 2015.
