Ken Gargett Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 the mini series done on her life recently was a good watch. some great old songs. too young.
CaptainQuintero Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 RIP indeed. I didn't know she had any impact internationally though a bit of an eye opener there.
Ryan Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Anyone who can make a decent stab at a Burt Bacharach song, as she does with "Anyone Who had a heart" up in the first post, is worth a second listen.
Warren Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Such a lovely lady. She started out as a hat check girl at the Cavern Club where the Beatles used to play. It's the music of my youth and always takes me to a warm place. Gone too young with still so much to offer.
Mr.T Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Yes, very sad to hear of her passing. I have fond memories of watching her on the tele when we lived in the England.
