do you blokes really have to encourage him? is he not unbearable enough?

or is there a 'crawler of the week' comp i missed?

you blokes have pumped up his ego so much that he thinks he can bring tiny crappy cigars over for the videos and get away with it! he needs to be held to account. i want the good stuff and that won't happen if you blokes keep making him think he does a good job.

anyway, it is D that does all the work.

You are absolutely correct!

But...I tried to bribe her to grab one of Rob's RACF boxes, but she would not go for it... I can't believe she loves him more than a new pair of shoes and a bottle of wine!!

Marlborough or a Sancerre?

take a wild guess!

i'd be stunned if 1% of aussies even knew what sancerre was.

i will confess i did find a sauv blanc i absolutely loved. domaine simha 'raya sauvage'. from tassie. incredibly complex and just a beautiful wine. needless to say, tasted nothing like savvy. not easy to find. they made 800 bottles and at $80 a bottle, it pushes dagueneau.

Ken, you ever give a bottle of that to Di and I will be ruined. Their production is her annual consumption.

Absolutely right. Completely different styles from the same grape. Full-forward fruit vs. mineral, most wouldn't know.

Cali Sauvs are kind of in the middle ground for me. At least now I know what to send Lady Dee as a thank you for all her hard work sneaky.gif

Sorry Rob..... this from someone in the past who would have put a straw in a bottle wine to consume it faster moon.gif

At least I can stop a two to three glasses if needed and not have to finish the bottle off for the sake of it

Enough said clap.gif

Note to self: Find a bottle and give it to Di at Havanathon.

There was a bistro in New York that had a few bottles of a red Sancerre that was...how you blokes say...cracker!! I have no idea what it was, other than that it was French and it was unforgettable.
