Has anyone ever gotten stained lips from a Cuban cigar?

I'm currently smoking a RA superiores and noticed a tingle on my lips that uve only gotten from certain NC cigars.

I wiped my lips on a sleeve and got brown all over it.

I've only seen this on NC Rocky Patels and other cigars that I'd assume we're just dyed to create uniformity.

I will also note, I abhor a wet cigar and smoke very dry on the lips. I only lick the cap once to get a clean cut and then the cigar is dry the rest of the smoking experience.

Does HSA dye any cigars? Or is this a phenomenon of all cigars and I've noticed it only on NCs?

No. But tobacco juice is very messy…

The head of that cigars seems in no way wet or messy. If it was sloppy, I'd be more inclined to go with the juice explanation. Still, it seems the most likely scenario.

I just smoked a RA Superiores tonight. ULA NOV 14. No issues with stain or tingling on the lips. Interesting.

Brown lips?

It all depends on how high up in the company you are.
