Ken Gargett Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 All this is making me want to light one up. Wilkey ditto. next visit to rob's, i might need to go burrowing amongst his goodies. in a completely innocent way, of course. and for smallclub, not that you need it but others might... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFe2Evg3RBM
Smallclub Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I saw them a while ago for $8100 a box. On a Facebook group I suppose...
DoubleDD Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 You think $8100 is bad, I've happened upon a box at £6,250 in the English market.
Ken Gargett Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 You think $8100 is bad, I've happened upon a box at £6,250 in the English market. seriously? i might not be in such a rush to crack a box. same pain in the arse situation as if/when a wine you have/like suddenly explodes in value. whereas once you were perfectly happy drinking the thing, now it has to be the right occasion etc etc. makes no sense except that as humans we often do things that make no sense. i've heard james halliday on this - he takes the view that, no matter what the cost or how he got it, every bottle that goes into his cellar is valued at "$zero". it means he never has to worry about what he might be drinking. it is not a bad way to treat cigars.
DoubleDD Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Yep Ken, I was shocked too but it is at a reputable tobacconist and not some cuckoo just throwing out a number.
Flea7 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Well,... derrty passed on these. PM me if anyone wants a stick or two.
CaptainQuintero Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Yep, fair few in UK stores but the prices are silly.
Maplepie Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Yep, fair few in UK stores but the prices are silly.Oh ya. Davidoff on St. James has quite a few actually. £110 for the Cohiba Double Corona and a bit less for the Sublime. Even with a travellers 20% discount, that's way above what I was looking for Sent from the Enigma via Tapatalk for BlackBerry Classic.
