derrty0657 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I know I'm going way out here but what are the odds of finding Cohiba sublime 2004?
derrty0657 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 Figured as much. Is there something comparable out there? 1
DoubleDD Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I'm not a big Cohiba guy and I never had one but I'm sure someone here can help you.
nikesupremedunk Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 The LCdH in cancun had a few left at $100 a pop…I'm a big Cohiba nut and never tried a sublime but still couldn't stomach $100/stick price tag...
Lotusguy Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 If you end up buying, do your homework - there are TONS of fakes around. 2
derrty0657 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 Yea I figured the ones that I found were fakes
anacostiakat Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Good luck finding them. They truly are sublime. . .
derrty0657 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 Lol from the sounds of things I should give up
JohnS Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Lol from the sounds of things I should give up You'd be surprised. 'Where there's a will, there's a way', as they say! I'd be willing to guess that a few of our members do have them in their humidors!
Ken Gargett Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 You'd be surprised. 'Where there's a will, there's a way', as they say! I'd be willing to guess that a few of our members do have them in their humidors! where they are probably likely to stay! i remember punch joe telling me, when they were released, they were the best thing done in cuba in years. have not smoked one for ages (probably since around release) but they were pretty special back then. i remember you could still pick them up in cuba a few years later but the price had really bumped up - and beyond what i was prepared to pay. mind you, probably a fraction of what they are now. 1
Ken Gargett Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Good luck finding them. They truly are sublime. . . and i thought that was the cohiba LE from the the previous year. 1
Smallclub Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I'm not very fond of Cohiba in general but these were fantastic cigars…
jazzbass Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I picked one up a number of years ago then proceeded to keep it well stored for about 4 years. Smoked it last year around this time and was stopped dead in my tracks.. It is well worth any and all hype you might hear.
derrty0657 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 Well if any of my fellow habano friends can help I'd greatly appreciate it
oliverdst Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 For the anglophones, how do you pronunciate (Cohiba) Sublime: səˈblaɪm (like "eye") or subleeme (like letter "e")? EDIT: I know in English is səˈblaɪm. I'd like to know how you pronunciate when you are talking about the cigar.
Smallclub Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Why would you want to pronounce it in english? The correct, spanish prononciation has nothing difficult…
derrty0657 Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 All this is making me want to light one up. Wilkey Jealous.
