Goldeneye Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Thanks for reply, my son brought some back from the DR and I quite enjoyed them. I bought some more in Canada and didn't find them all that enjoyable but am thinking of trying again, still on the fence if I will or not.

Popular Post Namisgr11 Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Lousy pic through the cellophane, but the cigars come in a sharp tin case. Fuente Opus X Perfecxion X. 48 ring gauge, 6 1/4 inches in length. 15
Popular Post ViscountDick Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Just love these, think they’ll become a staple alongside the Carlota. 13
Wlu1988 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Picked up a box of Paul Garmarian 20th Anniversary Salomones. They are wonderful. The best cold draw I have experienced on a cigar in a long time. 2

Popular Post Wlu1988 Posted February 27 Popular Post Posted February 27 An absolutely wonderful Paul Garmirian Lancero for me. Best I can tell this is at least 10 years old and the wrapper is so soft that I am convinced that if someone could make a bed sheet so soft that they would easily be a multi millionaire. The cigar was a fantastic smoke and is giving me a great feel for aged (albeit not CC) cigars. I have really been impressed with the PG brand lately having smoked a Salomones, Double Corona (maybe named the Coronas Extra?) and this Lancero tonight. 10 1
Popular Post David88 Posted February 27 Popular Post Posted February 27 Some pick ups from recent travels. A box of padron 5000. These don’t hit the heights of the 1964 or 1926 series but, for me, offer very good value and consistency. I also picked up a box of Great Wall/Amante lanceros in Hong Kong. No idea what to expect with these but I love a Lancero and the packaging was nice enough. They also offered a discount in the store which doesn’t make them too much of a gamble. 13

Picked up these two preferidos and had them both smoking nicely. The last time I had these was maybe 8 years ago and I recall the green variant to be my favourite at the time. The cold draw on the green one (emerald as they call it) actually brought back memories of a phase that I had on Dominican cigars with Ecuadorian wrappers. I actually had great expectations from the gold one because I was looking forward to a Dominican corojo wrapper, unfortunately the green remained my most preferidos. I tried several auroras, the preferidos seem to be their best line-up. 9 1

Great to have when your buddy who's a bottle in wants a cigar, great for those times when ~20m of simple smoking is required. I almost always have a 5er to take to parties where I know if I smoke a cigar I won't have a ton of time and someone will want to join me. Value can't be beat. There's also a harder to find Petite Tatuaje at the same price in a 50ct Cabinet rather than 10/5 paper sleeves that are a little more serious of a blend, definitely age-able as well, while the CCrumbs are more buy and smoke as you need. 1
