Some purchased because of reviews/recommendations, some because it uses my preferred leaf, the rest just because I've wanted to try them 1 3

For what it's worth, they don't. I believe this came about because people didn't understand why there's so much smoke production, and/or people believe the color of the smoke comes from something other than tobacco. Steve Saka posted about this 12 years ago on Reddit: I've been working on the distribution process in France for some reason and funnily enough, I've found out something about that a few days ago. Distributors here have to ask the manufacturer to disclose what's used for making its cigars and then disclose the list themselves to the ANSES ( Agence Nationale de la Securité Sanitaire which would translate to Sanitary safety national agency) before being able to sell them to tabacs (our B&Ms) and look what I found: Logista (which is Drew Estate's distributor for France) did state that "mineral oil" is found in the three Liga Privada N°09 sold in France (as an "humectant"). You can also see that in the Bauhaus Line it's said to be used as a "renforçateur d'arômes et/ou du goût" (flavour and/or taste enhancer) along with....white vinegar 🧐 My point isn't to prove anyone wrong, this information is just easily accessible here but might not be everywhere else in the World according to different regulations so I thought I would share 👍 Mr Saka doesn't need me to stand up for him (I really like the man) but fwiw he doesn't actually deny using mineral oil in his reply, unless I read it wrong which is possible as my English is still quite hesitant 😅 2 2

This should be available for all of us 👍 This data is only about what distributors have disclosed about their tobacco products, they're not supposed to hide anything of course but just to make sure they're being totally honest there's another list that states what has been actually found by the ANSES itself when it doesn't match. I would share this one too but unfortunately it has been unavailable for a while now, I will when I can 🤔 1

I volunteer @Cigar Surgeon to dip some Cubans in mineral oil and see how it affects the smoke output. Dip2s seem perfect for the task! 1 1

FOH detectives on the case! There was a German list like this that us Scotch whisky nerds used to find out which whiskies really had caramel coloring added (because Germany requires disclosure of additives as well). That Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva is such a great size for just a quick smoke. 2
