Went on a shopping spree in Madrid, they had nice selection of ncs. I’m excited to try out Andalusian bull in Malaga/ Marbella found many shops that sells Cubans, lots of shops stocked with 50+ euro sticks ( trini and Cohibas are everywhere )

D4 bbf and few others were also available in many shops. I’m looking forward to trying aliados

Hey just a question - are all cigar prices the same in each shop?  So more looking for stock vs better pricing if going to different cigar stores?

Of the cigar shops I’ve been they were all priced the same, just a matter of availability

Have you ever tried those Opus X? I have heard so many different opinions on them, I have never come across one in person, but not sure if I want to spend the money based on what I heard.

Spend your money of Anejos instead (imho).  The Opus X are very strong, almost overpowering, even with years of age on them.

I Will check those out. I appreciate the comment as I am generally not a fan of very strong cigars.

Picked up a few smokes from the local B&M. I am about to get rolling on some nudies purchases! I have never smoked an Alec Bradley or  Rare Pink. I'll be resting the rare pink for a special occasion smoke.

Project 40 is actually a decent smoke given its price point. There aren't too many Alec Bradley's I've gone back for seconds on, in fact, the Project 40 may just be the only one.

Thanks for that. I will probably smoke it tonight. I'm not all that versed on some of these NC brands so it will be interesting .

Opus x Angel share is not that strong and it’s a very good cigar imho

Smoked this today. It was pretty good actually. Interesting aroma and decent flavors. I've certainly smoked worse. Might try one again so thanks for that input!

Going to throw in one other recommendation for an Alec Bradley. The Kintsugi in Corona Gorda is a terrific smoke.

IMO the Angel's Share is one of the very, very few Fuente's that needs no age whatsoever to enjoy thoroughly.  It is just a lovely cigar from day one, though it can become much more fun too ...as it can gain subtle complexity with a few years.  That said, I almost always enjoy an Angels Share, even when very young.

As that may suggest, I am also a fan of well-aged other Fuentes; in my opinion, they just take patience (like the best of CC's ...but a bit more, and never reach the potential complexities -- and I realize that's controversial -- I just love a 10+ -year old Fuente.  It won't be a CC, but it can bring 3 thirds and more, and its own full-on flavor profile.

Lucky to have such problems -- and happy for your AS experience tonight! -c

Those rare pinks are pretty stout... good though! I didn't read much about them and just picked up a few to try thinking they were just like opus x and the thing just about put me on my arse. Then I found out about the Nicaraguan fillers! Lol

This eagle just landed today. I'm gonna have one ROTT and not touch them again until after I get back from vacation late next month. These smell intense!

Well? What's the verdict? Been eyeing these but can't decide if I'm gonna pull the trigger or just wait until they're all gone and regret not pulling the trigger.

I put up a review in the Nudies Mofo thread. They need rest. That said I enjoyed it. For the price and construction quality alone I'd say go for it. But these offer so much more. I predict these will be absolute bangers in 6 months!

I started with the maduro sampler pack in the Family Reserve. Haven’t looked back since. #46 was my favorite. Enjoy!
