PuroDiario Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 I had a morning meeting with a client today and ended up at the Davidoff in Madison Ave around 11:30am with him. He picked up a couple My Father Flor de las Antillas. I thought it was prettygood, earthy with cocoa hints and generally nice tobacco flavor and good strength for a mid morning smoke. I purchased a few more after we finished to continue to like it. 1
Popular Post cbenham73 Posted September 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 5, 2021 I have not posted in a while, so I will share some NC Cigars I have smoked over the last few weeks. 10
Popular Post ha_banos Posted September 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 5, 2021 Described as complex. But very bland, dry earthy tasting. Bought a fiver In a split. I don't try NC often. I'm more shy of them now! 5

I’m heading to Boston in October on a trip with a buddy ….also looking to link up with some members …pm me if interested Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Probably LJ Peretti’s. All of the other shops have closed. There are great shops north in New Hampshire and south in Rhode Island. Boston in October is beautiful. I am just outside the city. edit: I forgot about Stanza in the North End 1 1

Technically in Cambridge, but it's metro Boston. 1
Popular Post Lomey Posted September 15, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 15, 2021 One of my favorite NC cigars, especially in a lancero. It's been awhile since I purchased any, but couldn't pass these up on sale. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk 7

Fox Sterlingworth Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Every few months or so I’ll hit the local b&m and grab a good handful of smaller sized Padron 1964s and ‘26s. Sometimes I’ll grab a stick or two of something new to try. Last time was a United Cigars firecracker. Will not be return purchasing that...
Popular Post Lomey Posted September 30, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 30, 2021 Picked these up on a great deal. I've never had one, but heard great things. Also, everything I've had by Illusione has be really good or better. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk 8

You picked up quite a variety! I’d fire up the 1964 1st. They’re kinda the gateway to all Padron. None of those are going to disappoint (certainly not the 45s). If you age that brown label for 4-5 years, it’ll smoke as good as the 1964s. The rest are ready to go right out the box. And I’d argue against aging premium Padrons.

I've been wishing for a 1964 in the Panetela shape for awhile. I might have to buy some brown label Panetelas and lose them in the back of my humidor for a few years... I've never tried the Damaso, would be curious to know how it performs for you as a lighter bodied option.
Popular Post Hollywood Ninja Posted October 7, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2021 A box of 2015 La ImperiosaAnd something that I saw on sale that caught my eye. Haven’t had much from AganorsaSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 5
Cairo Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 Just bought some more Foundation Highclere Castle Victorian coronas. A lot of NCs claim to be complex--these are the real deal. With the rising prices of Habanos, these don't seem that expensive anymore. 😀 2
Popular Post Bijan Posted October 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 20, 2021 Did a Halloween cigar secret Santa. Was hoping to get some NCs since I don't smoke them very much. Was not disappointed. 6

Popular Post gustavehenne Posted October 26, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2021 Box of 32 Opus X Double Corona's. One of my favourite blends and not a taste profile I've found on a CC yet. By the end of this I'll probably be up all night ... 13
Ford2112 Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Smoked a Fuente Don Carlos and enjoyed it. A couple Oliva V Melanio sticks. Some dog rocket I won't ever buy again. I have a 1964 Padron waiting and a couple others,a New World,a couple Ligeros and RP something or other. 1

I do enjoy a Don Carlos but it pales in comparison to an Opus X. Padron is another favourite and while the 1964 is brilliant, the 1926 is the outright winner for me. I prefer larger vitolas so only had the larger formats. I’ve got a box of Melanio’s on their way - thankfully it was a fairly cheap purchase although I’m not expecting anything of brilliance
Popular Post Ford2112 Posted October 26, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2021 The Melanios are a decent smoke. I have yet to drop coin on an Opus to see what the fuss is all about. I might one of these days. I have these fellas waiting in the wings. 7
