HoyoFan Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Those are really a great smoke! Hard to beat the price too!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using TapatalkHave never tried these. What are the flavors? 1
Fatshotbud Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Starting into some of the Don Pepin "My Father" line of cigarsFirst up Le Antiguedad in Toro presentation.Mmmm yup ... Liking then Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapatalk 4
JLFIRST Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Have never tried these. What are the flavors?@PadronFanI hate using this comparison buy they really have a nice mild Cuban Twang. Nothing like a Punch Punch or anything but the flavor will remind you of a Cuban cigar with a little more body. The Pilion doesn't have any bad aftertaste or mouth coating. It just has a great tobacco flavor that has been blended very well and rolled, constructed, and smokes like a cigar you'd pay much more for. After I smoked 2 of them, Robusto size, I bought a box. Now they are a mainstay in my NC stock. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk 1
leafdream54 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 the last one I smoked was My Father The Judge 652 - it was a nice flavorful cigar

fitzy Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 @mkzWe are lucky here in the states that tobacco taxes are pretty low compared to some other countries. 2

I'm in Chicago pretty regularly, but I've always been an Iwan Ries guy. I love that place. Now I'll have to check out CDM next time. I'm in Dallas this weekend, and I'm hoping the CDM down there is a good one.

When I make purchases from CDM, I shop online and have shipped to an out of state address to avoid the ridiculous taxes. And yes, having them shipped back to me from another state I come out ahead vs. purchasing in store. Example- I went in to purchase a $125 box of cigars and it was $55.xx in tax being an IL resident. I purchase the same box online at $125, add $5 shipping to an out of state addy and another $9 to ship back to me = Win. To the point of the thread- I purchased an aged lot of 75 or so of various Fuentes/Padrons from 2011/2012 era recently. . 1

The first time I went to order something online I thought I accidentally added too many, nope....just tax.

Popular Post steelcity Posted February 5, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 5, 2018 Small Batch Cigars got me on Friday night with their Super Bowl sale. Their shipping speed is awesome. Placed the order late Friday night and it arrived today. Direct flight from their warehouse to Tampa. Everything I’ve tried from them always arrives in 2 days. Picked up a box of Padron 1964 Exclusivo maduro at 20% off. They also included a Davidoff Scorecard and an Aniversario #2 as gifts. 5
Wertman Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Those padrons are wonderful I do think they are better with little to no age. Not the davidoffs do so much better with a couple years on them
