Popular Post Vortigan Posted July 17, 2015 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2015 My daughter has made this for me in her spare time at school I absolutely love it! Such a precious and special thing that I'll treasure. Its "imperfections" just make it all the more special and add to its absolute uniqueness.I love it so much,it's already priceless! 22
Mr.T Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Wonderful! Will need to get my little girl to make one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
smh Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Really cool. My dad still has and uses one that I made for him about 25 years ago when I was in grade school.
archosaur Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Regardless of age or skill level of the artist, I actually really like the piece. I think there is some legitimate talent in the proportions, the massing, the execution of it. And it looks very functional. Well done!
leftimatic Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Perfectly imperfect! It looks great. What a great gift. Reminds me of when I made this really great hash pipe in highschool. Never got to use it. My mom found it, I told her it was a gift for her.( No she didn't smoke hash) She just smirked and said thanks it was beautiful and put it in the china cabinet. It sat there for twenty some years till she died. Not sure where it is now. I'd sure like to try it out........ With some Dunhill Nightcap of course.
stargazer14 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 My daughter also made me a cigar ashtray a few years ago. Sadly it did not hold up to colder outside temps, but just the thought warms me heart. I know the feeling brother.
Quint Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Absolutely priceless no question about it. You'll have that all your life I bet. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
LordAnubis Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 That is brilliant!! And it looks great too! When's she going into mass production? Did she consult you about making it? She's nailed those cigar "holder" cut out bits... You've got one hell of a designer/engineer in the making
Colt45 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 It's gorgeous - seriously. Reminds me of an abalone shell, or something similar.
Optic101 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Priceless, and a very nice pice of art, great talent.
JohnS Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I wish I had the chance to make something similar when I was at school!
