A friend of mine that knows some of Patel's people got to try the new Hamlet blend he said it was really good. He'll do well with Rocky. I still have 2 of his Cuban Dalias sitting in the humidor for a special occasion.

Made an unexpected stop at a local b&m and he just received his first shipment. I picked up the robusto, toro, and salamones. Smoked the toro yesterday.

Strong but not spicy. I really enjoyed the flavor but as with many NC fairly one dimensional.

Looking forward to the other two sticks. Look great, smell great, excellent construction.

I think these will do well here in the U.S.

I can say his are the only Non Cuban's I'd consider searching out and trying.

Does anyone know if there is a schedule of his travels in the states?

Funny you ask..... http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=124734&hl=tracker

Thinking about trying to put together something for his visit to Lou's Smokehouse in Lawrenceville GA on 11-21-2015

There's a great Cuban restaurant couple of blocks away we could grab some patio tables and maybe even get Jaime to stop by after.

My order shipped last night. Looking forward to giving these a try

ordered a 5 pack sampler of robustos today. Look forward to trying Hamlet's new creation! Last few NC I've had were sadly dissappointing hopefully Hamlet's new cigar line breaks that streak.

I picked up a 5er of Salomones. They look and smell pretty good, haven't had a chance to try one yet. I smoke about 50/50 CC/NC, and based on early reviews, it sounds like these are a hit with CC and NC smokers alike. Hope I get to fire one up here in the next week or two.
