Joe Gibbs also called two timeouts in 07 to blow the season. Because he was trying to ice the kicker.

also, in fairnes to gibbs, that did not blow the season. we still made the playoffs and got flogged by seattle.

if i recall, gibbs always maintained he asked an official on the sideline what was permissible as he was not sure (okay, you are a hall of fame coach - you should know, and he accepts responsibility) and he was told it was okay and then got penalised.

it was a mid season game. still time to save or blow the season for manalso, that game with the time outs was against the bills a few days after their star player, sean taylor, was gunned down in his bed. all reports said it was gibbs who held the guys together that week - how hard would all that have been? amazing to get so so close.

we have just had the situation here where a coach was killed. his team's next game abandoned. ditto when a cricketer was killed by a ball. the games abandoned or postponed.

i think we can forgive supercoach gibbs that one little error!

I remember that game and that incident. But yes he did hold them together. I heard the Sean Taylor a footballs life is a good episode but that it doesn't show his dark side (issues relating to his death) hell of a safety!

Jim Z was not the skins original choice. I remember the rumour of them contacting Shanahan. And he made Morris a great back no doubt.

and that blood stain can't be seen when wearing a skins shirt.

The real question is will the Broncos dominate the league and win the Super Bowl? Yes.

Will josh McDaniels cheat and get caught and not get thrown out of the league? Yes

Will Tim Tebow have Jesus blocking for him? Yes. Except when they play the bills

jim zorn not first choice? say it isn't so! jim zorn was hired as a coordinator (uniforms?) and when we could get no one else, bumped up to head coach. and how did that work out?

if i recall, a defensive?? coordinator at the time was hired by dan and zorn. at the time, he was not in the NFL. he was not in college. he was calling bingo. you could not make that up (unless i just did because it does not sound believable).

Seriously the problem with that article is how pro bowlers is what sets team years apart. Super Bowl winners usually didn't go to the pro bowl. Now super bowl bound teams can't. 2006 chargers better than a Seau team. Get real.

And he was the quarterback coach! I checked Google to make sure.

It also agreed that Tebow is the 2nd best player ever.

The skins should get romo to coach. His comments on the raiders are the attitude the skins need. " mule never won the derby" " raiders suck" " team eats bacon, I need hog hunters....slit their throats" .....I wish Denver got that mindset. Seattle does. Looks like the bills will.

not even dan would bring romo to DC. taylor had that attitude. a few more could certainly do with it.

The New York Football Giants. That is all. (unless you want to discuss the NY Baseball Giants moving to Frisco)
