El Presidente Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 I see it as the lads heading to their ancestral home....and doing their bit to prop up the economy 1
Orion21 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The Greeks in Chicago should go back home and introduce some good old Capitalism back into the country. They could turn it around in 6 months flat!
Mr.T Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Well done! What a beautiful setting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In it she makes fun of Greeks in Greece retiring at 50 whereas Greeks in America die behind the register in the restaurant.A friend of mine here has a wife from Chicago, the family owned a bar and a restaurant. She swears she paid her college tuition in $5s and $10s.

They are indeed struggling having a cigar at club Kythera Local Greek Lads .JPG is that artie under the hat? hard to tell. been to kythera. loved it. beautiful harbour, if a little small. glorious aquamarine water. i remember walking over the surrounding mountains. spectacular. but most of all i remember a number of elderly greek women swimming in the harbour. they were a collection of widows and all still wearing black. which they could not remove apparently, for a certain period of time. so there were several of these women floating around the harbour in their big black dresses which spread out. from the surrounding hills, it looked for all the world like half a dozen big black mushrooms floating in a blue stew. for a tiny island, it is extraordinary how many found their way to australia.
