glassbase Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 An Edmundo Tubo last one of a 3 pack that was gifted to me last year. It has old Montecristo band (flat colour and no embossing) it's got to be from 08/09 and is my oldest cigar. When I get confirmation that I will be a CMA/CPA I am going to light it up.
CaptainQuintero Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I'm pretty good with this type of thing, the only exception is my last 1998 Partagas tres petit corona :/
joeypots Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I keep looking at the last two of my RA 898s and wonder when I'll burn them.
joeskow Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 My one and only 1966.. was gonna smoke it today for my birthday but went with a 520 instead, have 2 boxes left of those.
Duxnutz Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Mine are the big bastards that have been discontinued or (in Oz) taxed beyond belief. Sancho Sancho HDM Particulares (probably Sh!t but I like the look of it) Any Churchill or DC Last Monte A
jacksfull Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 The very last Monte Especial from an Aug '97 box (I think that's right, box code is OUSC-TLP-03). My first CC full box purchase. Bought in '98. Handed out a few to friends when fresh. Then smoked all the rest but this one within 5 years of purchase. I think the thing to do now is wait for Aug 2017 for its 20th birthday. I hope this one isn't plugged. A few others from that box were.
Ryan Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I have a single "Maravilla Extra" custom roll, a big thing 55rg X 9 inches that I got from a chap called Pepe at a party in Havana in 2010, the night after the gala dinner, in one Rob Ayala's place. I can't bring myself to smoke it, though I will someday.
Drguano Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I have a Cohiba Supremo that I fear I will enjoy too much and want to stock up. 1
Havanaaddict Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I have a late 80s Taboada rolled for Pablo Escobar that was a gift from a friend that has passed away now. A few others I keep putting off: 1980's Davidoff Dom Perignon 1980's Dunhill Cabinetta 1980's Dunhill Atados 1
brlesq Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 La Gloria Cubana Tainos FPG NISU (1998). Only have 3 left.
Habana Mike Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Oh, where to start? One for sure is the Bolivar Distinguidos China RE from the jar. I did burn the Punch Platino that was taunting me for some time on Memorial Day. Every now and then I'll bite the bullet and smoke one of those "untouchables" for no particular reason other than why not. Can't take them with you!
Habana Mike Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Curious how the platino was... Very attractive presentation. Well-built and looked good after pulling the foil. Not quite to the Punch profile, I picked up leather, nuts, cocoa and some floral notes. Found it just the left side of medium. A nice one to smoke, box worthy? Not sure it's worth seeking out for the price though I think you should grab a single if you come across one.
Maplepie Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 The last cigar of my first box. A great ol' Romeo y Julieta No. 2 tubos. I think I'll have to smoke it one of these days just to get it over and done with. Might not even be THAT good but it'll surely be a special cigar.

Popular Post BonVivant Posted July 4, 2015 Popular Post Posted July 4, 2015 I give the last cigar from the box away - saves the heartache of decision - done it for many years 5
Maplepie Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Hey Jer! Good to see you around mate Hiya Mike! 60-80 hour weeks have me swamped. Nice to finally catch up with the happenings. I see the numbers on Rob's sales are growing exponentially.... remember the days of 12:12:12? Hope you've been well!

I'd be just like westg and make a time to smoke most of them; then when I had just ONE left - I'd probably leave it alone for the rest of my life!
