Stanislaw Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Aw, Quint, so sorry to hear, it is never easy as I went through it myself.... Celebrate his life by writing these sorts of things as it will help in the long run and sharing who he is to you is so important as you try to cope with the feeling of loss and missing him.... It won't be easy but you will find your strength....
forgop Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Sucks. Lost my dad over 7 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't miss him a great deal.
LeafLover Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Wow. So lucky you are to have known this man. So lucky for the both of you that you are together when he continues on his journey. That is a beautiful thing. Godspeed to your father and condolences to you and all those he leaves behind. 1
MIKA27 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Thank you for sharing these very special and personal accounts about your father. Our parents are so special, I myself am a father and I hope one day when my time comes, my children can reflect back on the things I have done for and with them so lovingly as you have allayed about your father. This further shows how great this forum is in that one can feel comfortable to share ones thoughts so comfortably and know you have our full support. It's a family. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. 1
dowjr1 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 A man with a life like that needs to be celebrated. I will drink one and toast one tonight in his honor. Godspeed. 1
