Popular Post El Presidente Posted June 17, 2015 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2015 I count John DeCosta as a good mate of mine and he is doing some beautiful work with his Cigar Jewellery line at cigarsanctum.com Having spent a few days with john in London this past week, he gave me a sneak peak at the Partagas Cufflinks he is launching as part of his Partagas line next week. Gorgeous. Blokes generally don't wear much jewellery, but I have a soft spot for a great set of cufflinks for that afternoon or evening out when you dress to the nines. Granted for me it doesn't happen often Partagás 1845 Cufflinks These classic sterling silver cufflinks, which pay homage to the brand's founding year, carry a secret. They're based on the design of the rarely seen keys that a handful of supervisors carry in the Partagás Factory. This round key - more like a T shaped plug - displays, in the simplest of letters, the name Partagas and a number that identifies the holder. The key is used to access the restricted areas of the factory, including the storage rooms. Simple and classic. (face 18 mm diam) A Little History. Don Jaime Partagás Ravelo built his eponymous factory, Real Fábricas de Tabaco Partagás, at Calle Industria 60, Havana in 1845. The building is more than iconic - its wooden galleries and weathered floor boards retain the scent of a million cigars and its pastel coloured walls breath Havana's intense humidity. In creating this collection, we've let 170 years of cigar history wash over us: the iconic factory, annual festivals, royal connections, rolling room lectors, signature red and gold and, last but not least, the wonderful earthy tobacco. 6
Guest rob Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I wear cufflinks everyday, and would love to sport those.
torsion Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I wear links everyday too!I only wear/have a couple of classic favourites-these do look good!!
free85 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Very elegant indeed. I'm not a fan of gaudy cufflinks (or what, at least I, consider to be gaudy).
CanuckSARTech Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Very nice. I remember when Nino posted stuff on the start of this line, back from when there was a big meet-up in Havana in February. Some really nice creativity there, and classic and clean designs. 1
