Popular Post Chickenlassi Posted June 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted June 10, 2015 These Punch Churchills were purchased in Trinidad, Cuba. There was a box with 10 left in it with the code from July 2005. Rings were confirmed by Reynaldo at Hotel Conde De Villanueva in Habana. Though this review may seem dubious, I had my best cigar day ever the day I bought these. I smoked a 5 year old H. Upmann Magnum 46 that became my 2nd favorite cigar EVER until this one took over that place. And a 5 yr old RASS the same day. Trinidad was a find. Just a little history of those who smoked Punch Churchills in the past. I had my best day ever at the Whistler bike park because I knew I was going to smoke a 10 yr old Punch Churchill. The accompanying photo is of the Thompson river after the fact. Just looking at the eddy, that River Monsters guy would be pulling in his biggest fish of his life if he was here with me smoking a 10 yr old Punch Churchill. Sylvester Stallone smoked 10 yr old Punch Churchills while he was writing Rocky. He didn't have any money but they were given to him by a friend. The rest is history. I wish I had friends that gave me 10 year old Punch Churchills. Thought publicly he may deny it Stephen Hawking smokes Punch Churchills. Do you know why he smokes Punch Churchills? Because Einstein and Nathan Rosen when they postulated their bridge were smoking them. It was discovered that time travel, or at least how to do it, was discovered while smoking a Punch Churchill. It need not be said but I'm going to say it anyways, that Winston Churchill smoked Punch Churchills during World War 2. That German guy didn't. Thankfully the right guy smoked the right cigar at the right time and we still have freedom in the world. More importantly, I found my best girlfriend ever in Havana Vieja after smoking a Punch Churchill. Indian gurus don't normally smoke Punch Churchills but when they want to see the future they use the ash of 10 yr old Punch Churchills along with other ingredients to make an intoxicating drink (that is mildly laxative) to see the future. Steve Jobs though he was totally a health freak, was at a party one day and a guy next to him was smoking a 10 year old Punch Churchill. Just the second hand smoke was enough for him to invent the iPhone. He invited the same guy to one of his parties years later and the iPad was the child of that second hand smoke reunion. It is said, but it is hearsay, that John DeLorean when he was looking for cash to continue his DeLorean Motor Car Company had a meeting with some international financiers. He had planned to take cigars with him and they happened to be 10 year old Punch Churchills, to ply the financiers with the cigars. He forgot them at home. The deal fell through and he turned to selling drugs to support his company and he was busted. Someone should have kept the Bushes away from 10 year old Punch Churchills is all that I will say. Okay and this is just a rumor, but Castro was purported to have plied the Russians with Punch Churchills after the missile crisis. They became a superpower after that. While we may not have the above greatness in us, a 10 yr old Punch Churchill will certainly bring us to our best greatness at that point. Keep smoking them and you never know what you may think up. 6
TiminBC Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Grant you broke the first rule of smoking ten year old Punch club! The rules of the universe have been changed, the course future changed. Your article has made remember that life improved slowly but steadily since I started smoking cigars back in 1998. Got get me some of those powerful ten year old punch!
PapaDisco Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 When my stock of 10 yr old Punch Churchills gets low, I use the last one to travel back in time and buy more. Pretty simple. Let me know if anyone wants me to pick them up a lottery ticket while I'm back there next trip.
shlomo Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Rumour has it the Moses lit the "burning" bush with a 10 year old Punch Churchill. It was his third best bush ever.

Got get me some of those powerful ten year old punch! Looks like 3rd week in July I will make a pillgrammage to the capital and will bring some life changing smokes. Chickenlassi Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 I wonder how Hawking smokes his cigars.....?That guy is amazing. I met him at a conference once. I had a cigar in my shirt pocket and he said what's that and I told him and it happened to be Monte Cristo #4 and he said, 'I heard those smell really good', so I smoked it and blew the smoke in his face and he was hooked. He actually had a contraption built so that he could smoke cigars. Now that I think of it, I wonder if he had smoked a Punch Churchill (which I suggested he buy of course) because he said he met Steve Jobs at a party and he tried to get him to smoke but he wouldn't. He said that he blew smoke into Job's face from his invention. I'll have to ask Stevie (Hawking) when we meet to kill the HdM Double Coronas (10 year old of course) I bought for us. nikesupremedunk Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Great review. I've only had 1 punch churchill, although it wasn't 10 years old, it was still pleasant. I don't know why I don't have more of these in my stash.
JohnS Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I guess the world got a little more boring since the Punch Churchill was discontinued in 2010?
