Agreed. Not a gimmick at all. Delicious cigar and great to share with 2 friends! One of the best Partagas has to offer.

On three separate occasions I have seen culebras smoked as one. In one instance the individual was adamant that they are supposed to be smoked this way despite my informing him that they are to be sep

And then there's this mythical beast...

Yes you take the three sticks apart. Once you smoke one of these, trust me, you'll immediately understand their appeal.

I like them because I can split it with two friends. The individual cigars smoke just fine. I guess some people might like them because they look different. For CC, I have only ever had the Partagas Culebra and I didn't really care for that cigar.

The Partagas is the only culebras in the HSA catalog. IMO it's a very good Partagas.

I'm aware of that. I should have clarified though. I've only had the Partagas Culebra and not some of the custom rolled culebras that are out there.

Your post is confusing. Do you like them or not? LOL

Sorry guys. Yeah, it is a bit confusing. No, I didn't like the Party culebra, but I have only smoked 3 of them. On another board, I've seen some Cueto rolled culebras.

I enjoyed a tasting of these with JohnS and a few of the other boys earlier this year (thanks again Trevor L for your generosity).

it was surprising because at face value it looks like a novelty cigar but when you smoke it. it is a seriously enjoyable smoke, its definitely not for bucks party moochers.

Enjoy it for the good smoke it is, but also enjoy it for the talking point it will create.

Yes Kam, we were pleasantly surprised at how good this was that day mate.

Can anyone tell me what the flavour profile is? Thanks..

I would say somehing like a mild Partagas 8-9-8 or Lusitania.

One of my fav cigars. Great cigar to share with two other cigar smoking friends. I find that it is unique & always is a cigar that generates a discussion to its origins & often exceeds expectations.

I don't believe you. No one can be so silly.

I've never seen one in person or paid that much attention but When seeing pics. Briefly, I just assumed you'd lite the whole thing. Maybe if I had one in my hand, it would have become apparent that they need to be unrapped.

Isn't it evident, even on pictures, that the whole thing must be unwrapped? Look at the size of the band, that makes impossible to smoke more than a half of the lenght; not even mentionning the red ribbon…

I have a Regius Culebra in the humidor, one of my best mates birthday bbq tomorrow, I'm going to pull it out as this thread has piqued my interest. Have only smoked party's before. Will have to get a review up for the Rancid Review Week.

Each has a different wrapper.
