dangolf18 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Got to try some William Larue Weller thanks to a friend. One of the best bourbons I've had. However, definitely not worth what it goes for on the secondary market. I'd pay $250 tops for a bottle.
sengjc Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Warm weather calls for the big sticks and a cold brew.
Lotusguy Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 More oak aged ale. Apparently it is limited. That stuff lasts for SEVEN years???
sengjc Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 That stuff lasts for SEVEN years??? More, I got this in 2013. Probably bottled in 2012. I think it is one of those ales for aging and cellaring.
Martin3203 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Had a few fingers or rum tonight. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
Colt45 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Vigneti Campanino Rosso da Tavola: Umbrian Sangiovese - earthy, meaty, fantastic. Cellario Barbera Sabinot: On the richer side of the Barbera spectrum - great wine.
westg Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 South Island Single Malt 23 yr very good...only 500ml bottle though 2
TM-US Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 That stuff lasts for SEVEN years???Some bottle fermented ales and barrel aged beers are good for years. Have to be higher abv. Some can be cellared for a decade.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Surucipe Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Early with dinner: And now this: Looks like a great evening Seng! So, what did you think of the 2015 Cairdeas?
sengjc Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Looks like a great evening Seng! So, what did you think of the 2015 Cairdeas? Softer and smoother than the typical Laphroaig (when compared to the Cask Strength). Quite a bit more sweetness. A good busy profile that is well balanced with brine and peat. Not unlike the Ardbeg Perpetuum, to be honest, just more creamy and sweeter. Excellent drink. 1
