Upgrayedd Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 No smoke lit up at the moment but having some cheap and cheerful drinks: Finlaggan (mystery-origin budget Islay whisky) and a Simpler Times Pilsner, literally the cheapest beer I know of but with a little more hoppyness than most entrants into the budget oriented 'Murican Chugging Beer market.

JamesNYC Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Funny you say that I ordered 2 bottles last week yet to receive them Definatley a great dram and until my others come in later this week I am all out Got my 2 bottles and gave one of them to a guy who works for me who came in my office to see the case of single malts I got shipped from Cali. He usually likes more peated malts, but I think he will like this one. Last night I drank a 10 year old Springbank. This is my favorite distillery, although this is not my favorite bottle. It has the usual Springbank flavors, but a little more astringent, and not as developed as their other expressions. I bought 2 other expressions that I will be trying this week.
