ubiquito Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I drank a little too much Bowmore 25 last night. Feeling kinda foggy today.
dangolf18 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Ardbeg Uigeadal...with all the crappy 12-15yo single malts out there, this hits the spot. Got a good deal at $56.
Colt45 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 2009 Domaine les Hautes Cances Cuvee Tradition Cotes du Rhone. My first try of this one - won't be my last.
dangolf18 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Best value bordeaux--2009 Chateau Maison Blanche Médoc. $15-$20 retail. Comparable to a $100 bordeaux. So good.
Wil Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 a few gin and tonics... More information required! What gin did you use? Had a G&T with Bombay Sapphire earlier. Nice, but not the most interesting gin.
maverickdrinker Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 LOL WIll, I dont know what gin was used. Didn't specify or ask when I was at the bar. I will do this next time.
canadianbeaver Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Drinking gin and tonic right now but news flash to report!! Brought home a bottle of Kirkland 20 yr old Speyside Cask Reserve Single Malt, $44. From Costco in Miami. It is fabulous - smooth, tasty and obviously of very high quality. Going to stock up as much as I can.
TheDistrictJP Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Will be drinking Capt Morgan Black n cokes during the game. I don't have a horse in the race so will probably be getting up to speed on all the cool threads on FOH and looking for a new job!
stogieluver Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Knob Creek on the rocks in one hand, and a BoliPC in the other. Perfect ending to a...well, a day.
Deemancpa Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Some mid week fortification. Very nice selection there Sengjc!
dangolf18 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Bought 12 bottles of '09 Chateau Maison Blanche 2 weeks ago. Down to only 4 bottles . This stuff is great. You'd pay $70-$100 for a comparable quality bordeaux in a restaurant. I only paid $14.99 a bottle! 91 points WE. I thought the case would last me the semester...I was surely wrong.
brutusthebuckeye Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Evan Williams Single Barrel...2002...neat...some heat n peat....interesting...
headstand Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 2006 Chante Perdix Chateauneuf-du-Pape. A lighter food friendly style that is pairing beautifully with steak smeared with Montreal steak spice. Think I will have another sip...
