fokker4me Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Drinking some Four Roses 2014 Limited Edition SB with a 2010 RASS
Chargerfan Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 It was a more peasant version of the above for me last night. A private selection FR Single Barrel. 11 yr, 2 months. And always spot on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
westg Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Put this in the daily smoke as well. but wanted to put it here to, terrific pinot ...wiped it off with a Dip 2 ...a great pairing 2
Lotusguy Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Laphroaig Cairdeas 2014. Great stuff!! Unfortunately, I only had a sample courtesy of a generous BOTL from the German forum. 1
Perla Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Pimms cocktail paired with a H.Upmann Noella - good pairing 1
fokker4me Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 A heavy pour of Four Roses 2014 Single Barrel Limited Edition, tons of milk chocolate on a very long finish with hints of wood. Think the the smell of a dry sauna mixed with milk cholocate. Compleatly awesome. My best bourbon of the year.
fokker4me Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 A great bourbon, 4RSB 2014 LE. Just steller juice.
LLC Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Not much left in my glass (or the bottle ) but enjoying a 2008 Burrowing Owl Merlot. Not normally big on Canadian red but I've been opening one of these about every 15 months and they continue to be much more enjoyable than I would have expected. This come from the Kelowna region in British Columbia and they certainly do red wine better than Niagara, ON. Climate definitely suits it more. 1
fokker4me Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Finishing off Sunday night off with some Blue.
Lotusguy Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 The rum was a monster - great aroma but simply too strong and when diluted with water, the aroma went away. The Whisky was killer. 1
westg Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Bacardi 8..I found this to be more enjoyable than Zacapa last night, not as sweet, really good rum.
fokker4me Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Cracked into the Parkers Heritage, good stuff but hardly worth the near $100US price tag. Ended with some Pappy 10.
fokker4me Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Thanks to some friends in the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society, I got to try some Craggenmore 18, matured in sherry casks, I've never had before, along with a new barrel strength bourbon that reminded me of George T. Stagg. I will be adding this to the bar soon.

Colt45 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Fondo Bozzole Le Mani - still lambrusco - excellent.
fokker4me Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Jack on the Rocks, in a plastic cup. Classy! 1
fokker4me Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 A generous pour of Henry McKenna 10 year Single Barrel from '03. A very underated Bottled in bond bourbon from Heaven Hill.
