Orion21 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Tried my first George T. Stagg over the weekend in Vegas. It had a wonderful nose, but it was too hot for me. That 120+ % proof just wouldn't let up. I added a bit of water and it went for days.

Newkarian Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Having a little Pyrat xo rum with a BRC. Pretty good but kinda reminds me of that orange flavored triamenic cough syrup lol.
Orion21 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Elmer T Lee tonight. Solid bourbon! Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk 1
Laynard Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Man, you guys make me feel like poor white trash. I'm sipping on Jim Beam Devil's Cut. I've got to step up my game!

Here is a good rule of thumb for FOH. It's without a doubt the best forum on the interwebs. BUT, don't worry about what others buy, no matter if it's booze of cigars, just do what you like, buy what you like, buy what you can afford, and try new things when the opportunity and the money allows. There are those that get caught up with keeping up with everyone else and there are those that don't and just enjoy what they enjoy. Drink, smoke and buy whatever makes you happy mate! 1

I'm definitely going to have to keep this in mind, especially after seeing some of the pics of stashes the BOTLs here have. If I don't, this forum will be the death of me.
Orion21 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 These tonight, not pictured is the Stagg Jr and Bushmills white label. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
helix Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Glengoyne is non peated and very good. GlenDronach is aged in Spanish Sherry barrels. Cigars a mc4. Hoyo Palmas extra paired well with the Highland Park.
anacostiakat Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Have been nipping at some Noah's Mill and Four Roses Single Barrell bourbons lately.
Skyfall Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Have been nipping at some Noah's Mill and Four Roses Single Barrell bourbons lately. I like Noah's Mill a lot!
Orion21 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 More Glengoyne 10. A bottle cap of water and this is my new favorite scotch! CaptainQ was not joking! This is so similar to the OP 21 minus the slight burn of the OP. A must pickup for everyone. Outstanding stuff!!! 1
bresdogsr Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Some Jefferson bourbon. Very smooth. The Glengoyne mentioned above sounds right up my alley. Have to try to find it.
Colt45 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Cascina Roera Cardin Vino Rosso - 85% barbera 15% nebbiolo. Very well made, extremely enjoyable - this producer is quickly becoming a fave.
CigarAsh Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Drinking Red Breast 15 year old Irish. Very tasty and one of my favorite Irish's right now. That will change when the next good looking curvy bottle appears before my eyes, though.
TM-US Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Glenfarclas 105 yesterday and High West double rye today.
Skyfall Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 10 CANE Rum. I like it mixed, I'm not so sure about straight up, never attempted that, but you can pick up 10 Cane around my area for $17-$20 bucks.

It's not bad. I paid 27.00 for a liter. It didn't give me the wow experience as zacapa did. But not bad.
AbuAmelia Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Finishing the night with a Guinness and one of my new arrivals.
Colt45 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Cava Pere Mata Cupada No.12, Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Bianco. Went out and bought more of both
