TM-US Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 William Larue Weller bourbon, 17 yr. Barrel proof release from the Buffalo Trace antique collection. Spicy for a bourbon; it has rye-like notes although it has no rye in it. Very dark color, like an aged rum. With the high proof, it has a distinct burn, mellowed with a few drops of water. Very tasty, with some sweetness in the middle. I would rank it highly in terms of bourbon, but I would put the George T. Stagg higher.
Lotusguy Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Finished off my Old Pulteney 21. Never did anything for me, I have to admit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
