Splitting a bottle with the wife.

Received this as a gift a few years ago and since family isn’t over I tried the Tawny Port from this instead of opening a full bottle. It will be interesting to try them all.

Maynards is a pretty new brand to the port world and a fantastic one at that.  They are best brand going for quality to price!

I bought a case of this 2014 Sullivan Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon after reading multiple reviews. I corked a bottle this evening and this is really pleasant. This wine calls for a really flavorful cigar. Great bottle!

Now, I did not expect the price to triple! I should have bought several cases. The wife is raving about it, reviews are excellent from respected sources and I have plenty more the wife doesn't know about. Perfect, ill present them for Valentines day. Sneaky can be good....

Demi-Sec is the style of an older era in Champagne.  Try for 40+ year old Dom and it's more to that style.  You may enjoy the Demi-Sec in a Champagne Coupe instead.  I personally would rather have the Demi-Sec than the Yellow Label, but I also think the Yellow Label is overpriced crap.  Step above Moet White Star, but that's about as good as that one gets...
