Popular Post El Presidente Posted April 28, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2015 There is something about Flat pack 10 packs that bugs me. ......you take a few out...you smoke them...and the rest of the box starts looking empty it shouldn't bother me..I know I only bought 10....but seeing timber or cardboard on the bottom of a once full box starts working on my brain to refill. I am an idiot I know....but is there anyone else out there with the same affliction 6
Hunter1974 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 yep gotta 10 box of PDS4 I have smoked 3 of them and I know theres not another layer under them lol
polarbear Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I just hate seeing the bottom of any box Where it be a 10 count, 25 count or Cab, it bugs me and makes me want to reorder
JohnS Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 El Pres, rest assured you are not alone! Yes, I have a 10 count box of Cohiba Piramides Extra that I don't want to disturb...at all. I actually feel trepidation at sampling the first one in a month or two!
jacksfull Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 All good boxes must come to an end eventually. It helps if there's another one waiting to be opened!
westg Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 especially upmann royal robusto when they are so good you never really want that box to end
Popular Post Fuzz Posted April 28, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2015 Call HSA and advise them to put in a pic of a row of cigars in the bottom of the box. Problem solved. 12
Ryan Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 That happens me. Fewer than 8 and it's almost empty. It's why I like the idea of the Vegueros box of 16. You don't have to shell out for 25, can smoke 2-4 and the box is still 'nearly full'. 8 over 8 packaging would have been nicer though. 1
... Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 When it comes to cigars, it's easy to be a 'glass half empty' kind of guy. The better the box, the worse are the symptoms
polarbear Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I get a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach when I untie the ribbon in a cab and all the cigars settle into the corners of the box :-( 1
Onelove Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 All good boxes must come to an end eventually. It helps if there's another one waiting to be opened! Last year, I started buying cigars again, purchased mostly tens at first which seems pretty common for newbs. The ones that are 4 or 5 boxes deep don't worry me, the few single box acquisitions on the other hand make me either want to buy more or smoke less. The current wish list prohibits the former and the latter seems crazy at best. As previously stated though any box that's nearly empty is cause for concern. 1
Rushman Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Not sure what's worse. The mostly full 10 count looking empty or the mostly empty cabinet looking deceivingly still well stocked until SHOCKER you start to see only a few rattling about on the bottom. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
skalls Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I've only smoked one psd4 and Lusitania from my 10 count boxes and already know that's not enough. Solved the psd4 issue last week though lol
garbandz Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Does not bother me ,I just look over at another 4 boxes and smile............. Really though,I have not bought any 10 counts in years, apart from Czar no one I deal with offers them......... 1

cigarbreak Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Yes I thought i was the only one lol. It's the same evil that causes me to avoid smoking one out of the box and the same evil that once I smoke one, the empty space in the box indicates that the rest are fair game and makes it harder to keep my hands off them. Makes aging attempts futile and forces me to reconsider a fill up lol.

skalls Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 The slide box presentation of the hdm epicure espicial is very nice. The dress box plays terrors Tetris better in my cooler though.
purpleloki Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Doesn't bother me. I just log on around 8pm eastern time with my credit card... 1
nikesupremedunk Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 That's why I combine it with another box when it gets to 5 or less. I think it's worse when you are done with the first row of a dress box..
Guest rob Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I feel worse my 25 count boxes start looking empty, and seeing the bottom.... It means another hit on the credit card, and another explanation to the missus is on the way! Having said that, I really do dislike 10 count boxes, and buy 25's and 50's whenever the choice is available.
smokenj Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I get sad / happy as soon as I pull the first cigar out of ANY box haha.
