genevapics Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 El Presidente: Have you ever had any americano's participate on the cuban trip?
El Presidente Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Not yet but we meet plenty down there. Not all that difficult as most go via Canada or Mexico. Visa's are completed at Havana airport for $25 and passport is never stamped.
Bill Hayes Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 When I was there three years ago a friend I was travelling with lost his visa card for Cuba. We just picked up another one at Cancun airport in Mexico for $25. It was just stapled into the passport. Pretty easy to remove once you return to Mexico. ;-)

Ken Gargett Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 » » Hey Ken do the Cuban Smokers still exist. is that a baseball team?
Loki Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 To the best of my knowledge this was one of the circa 1940-1950s Cuban baseball teams. My buddy Picker had a baseball jersey made up and wore it to a cigar Aficianado event that we attended .He thought it would be cool. Carlos Fuente Sr. who is a Cuban native recognized it and asked if he could get a picture with us. I'll have to google it.
