Cigar No. 2

My initial thoughts on this cigar were that it was well constructed with no soft spots and a slight box press, it took easily to my punch and the cold draw was perfect with hints of coffee and floral notes.

The coffee and floral aspects were also present in the initial draws after lighting.
I found myself relaxing with this smoke, it was extremely well balanced with a new fruity aspect adding to the coffee.
The middle third continued to be very smooth with coffee, spice and apricot with a slight woodyness coming through.
The final third remained very smooth with milky coffee and tobacco flavours dominating and the fruity aspect taking a back seat but still there.

Overall this was a great relaxing med-full body smoke, however I have little idea what it is.

Wow! This is a great idea. Can't wait to get in on it for the next go round!

That's what I always thought, until I found myself smoking a cigar and having to pick what it is. It's humbling, is what it is.

No kidding. I've never been able to narrow it down to one single cigar and know for certain that what I just smoked is what I think it is. Most of the time, I can narrow it down to two or three cigars, and pick from those. But the rest of the time, its a blind guess.

Well I did it now! Between this cigar not smoking well for me and buying a new house, I totally forgot to send in my guess! Oh well, on to cigar #3!

Hey, Lisa, if you have the box codes or approximate dates on some of these cigars when you post would be kind of cool, especially this one I enjoyed very much and would like to buy some no matter what it is!

Rob and co kindly posted up the codes at the end in previous years so you should be fine!

Do not wait for me. I didn't follow the emailing rules and that's that. I can live with abstaining from this one.

Had to do a quick smoke of this as the weather in Chicago has been very hit and miss lately.

Overall I thought it was a pleasant smoke, not much change throughout the stick. The wrapper was a fairly light colorado in shade and had quite a few veins. Flavors throughout were a woody, slightly sweet profile. Again, it doesn't taste like one of my regular robustos.

Looking forward to finding out what this was. Wouldn't mind having a box on hand as long as it is a good value.

Okay it has been a week past the deadline. I think it's safe to assume whoever has not yet submitted the answer by now has forfeited...
