I dont mind paying income tax thats a given but its 10% on the other things and $587kg and going up on the things you like as freedom of choice its the kick in the guts.

Hi Jimmy!

Please read the forum rules before posting another query of that type... Or not, which should be entertaining to see unfold :P

How many forum rules did he break with this one post? Not to mention how incredibly disrespectful it is to ask a retailer about other retailers on his own website. rolleyes.gif

Living in Fargo is relatively inexpensive. My 1900 square foot house (think that's 180 sq m) was $140k when I bought it.

Of course I do live in the middle of nowhere America and our winters suck something awful. Nothing like going to work when it's -20 out

Singapore.

The only things that are cheap:

Live in help

Fast food (hawker food) which is mostly very tasty but also mostly terrible for you.

Flights around the area (depending).

Taxes (which makes almost all worth while :) )

Someone was mentioning 8$ pints as the cheapest they could find in Sydney...We would kill for that :)

I could have bought an amazing house is Seattle with the rent we have paid in 7 years for a basic 3 bedroom 30+ year old house. To buy this house we live in would be 2-3 million!

Cars are 3-10 times the cost. My first car here was a 6 year old Honda Odyessy and it was 42,000$.

Ri-donc-ulous. I still live here though so I guess it isn't that bad :D
