No box code for these, picked up a few on a whim as part of an order of 2014 singles as I've always had great success with these little sticks.

These, like mentioned above, always deliver for me. I hated the size initially when they first started appearing but some of the releases have just delivered in taste and consistency so I can't really argue anymore! The HdM Petit Robusto is a cigar that I have and will continue to pick up without a thought for good or bad, they just always seem to be very, very well made.

Draw at cold is very woody, not particularly sweet, almost like a damp forest. Draw is great.

First third there is a lovely burst of sweet wood, these have never been the most complicated of cigars but what they do, they do well. Very obviously Hoyo: lots of creamy wood and fragrantly perfumed smoke. These to me are like a mellow Epicure, closer to the Epicure Especial than the number one or number two for me.

Second third continues with the sweet wood but instead of growing with body, which is straight up medium, the cigar becomes very mellow and easy going. No bitter edges or bite, it reminds me or marshmellow. Just still pottering along with lovely rounded flavours lolling about in your mouth.

I'm not sure you could call this a final third due to the size of these! But very much a continuation of the second third; no increase in body or strength, in fact apart from a small initial drop in sweetness from the first thing this hasn't changed noticeably. Floral perfume drifts in and out, taking turns with the woody cream and occasional zip of sweetness.

There just isn't anything unpleasant about these, a perfect lazy day short smoke that you can drag out for nearly as long as you want. Pure mellow and easy going relaxation, nothing to concentrate on or worry about. Laid back personified, or cigarified I suppose!

90/100 solid

fresh or aged these just deliver, I don't chase aged ones or even put them down for any real length of time. Pick up with confidence and chill out!

Cheers :) yeah it's a great little quiet spot with no one around. Was built around the 11th century, some really nice stuff inside from knights going to the crusades etc

I'll add these to the wish list
