I keep RyJ Mille Fleur as a part of my rotation,,,,quality is average as far as plugged sticks, but the flavors are what makes me keep coming back to them.

"I've wondered what the real difference is cigar wise. Do the millie fleurs get a lower grade tobacco"

If so I still like them very much....

I would have put the lunch club on the list if it were still being made.

some of my lesser known gems are

Partagas Presidente

Quintero Brevas

RyJ Mille Fleur

Hoyo Des Dieux

Upmann Regalia

The last Partaga Mille Fleur I had. Was gifted to me and I could easily put them into my rotation if they are smoking as well as that one did.

Ah interesting, thanks for the info.

The vitolas are hard to get a handle on. Does that mean Por Larranaga PCs used to be machine made? AFAIK they're marked not as mareva but as petit corona, vitola-wise...

PL Petit Coronas are Marevas.

No, precisely, since we're talking about vitolas de galera here. Same size but different vitolas, for a reason I explained.

Interesting...I actually got a couple of MF singles so I'm interested to see how they are.

tmac77 yes you are correct, since 2009 they discontinued this cigar. only mentioned it because they still can be

had from many vendors mainly in europe.

I meant (as I said) that the Por Larranaga "Petit Coronas" is actually a Marevas vitola. This is true. The post that I originally quoted thought that PLPC are Petit Coronas vitola.

Yet, on the Habanos SA official web site's "vitolario", the PLPC is given as a petit corona, not a mareva. I guess the PLPC was a machine made cigar a long time ago…

On CCW it's listed as a Marevas. I guess we have to follow the Habanos SA listing.

I just got my first box of Cazadores about 2 months ago (MOE ABR 14) and they have dark oily wrappers, but they are very young and need a year or two in the humidor.

I won't say that the Quintero Brevas and Partagas Super Partagas are gems but i really like them at that price point.

Yeah. The aristocrats are a really nice hidden gem. From a international price point I could see myself pay the double amount for this stick.

Had 2 friends who also tried them and they were very impressed, specially considering the price. I still can't understand how such a lovely cigar could cost so little.

Had a Cuaba Divinos that was excellent the other day. BD 2011. Only my second vitola from them and have enjoyed both. May need to do a little more research...
