Hello great people of Australia. Just received an e-mail from Delta Airways and they

are offering round trip flights from JFK NY to Sidney AUS for 1455.00. From other

points west of NY the price is as low as 1200.00 round trip. Yen is at 120 and the

euro is at 108. This is the time to packup and head for Europe or the pacific rim.

Man I hope the euro falls even lower so as next year I'll have a blast in Spain,

France and Italy. Anyway back to Oz. What is there to do in Oz around this time

of year in Sidney / Brisbane, etc, ect,.....All info is well received and much appreciated.

Check United too, my sister just bought return to/from JFK for under $1k AUD. The 787 isn't bad I hear.

While too cold to swim, all the touristy stuff in Sydney is still fun (Bondi, ferry to Manly, nightlife, Blue Mountains etc). Days are in the 70s, nights 60-mid 50s.

Probably would recommend heading up to Cairns/Port Douglas this time of year (still warm) for a look-see. Just booked my parents at this place ( www.thalabeach.com ) as we really enjoyed it.

If you make it to Syd, give us a shout.

Cheers

Adam
