Box code on the cardboard, under the lip of the lid usually for the Cohiba 1966's

Nothing on the cardboard.. anywhere.

You looked inside, on the underside of the top flap?

No luck.. no where.

As others said, check the top right inside on the cardboard box.

Some Caribbean LCDH are notorious for selling fakes. Mexico in particular. It's a lot of red flags already. With pics, members here will be able to help more.

How much were they?

Just came home from Mexico. Entire walk in humidor at our hotel, pretty as it was, was filled with fake Cubans. They were charging $40US for an Epi no2

The LCDH, 2 hours south of Cancun, was too far for us to visit so I cannot comment. Forum guys love it there?

No box code is no big deal. Have seen it many times, as have anyone into Cuban cigars over an extended period.

Missing an El seal? Seen it before.

Missing both together...makes me a little curious but I wouldn't be running around the house at this point.

LCDH should provide some security. I am no expert in fakes. I need to smoke a cigar to determine Cuban tobacco and I need to smoke 2-3 cigars to confirm a blend I am familiar with.

Nestor Valera is head of LCDH. Good bloke. You should be able to dig up his e-mail online. If you are really unsure of the cigars, drop him a line.
