Looking for some help. My wife and I are taking a cruise that will stop in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Anyone have experience with some reputable cigar shops in these cities?

I'll be taking my own for the most part but it's still fun to visit cool spots.

Being in Cabo during Hurricane Odile, I can tell you the shops near and around J&J's were completely messed up so I'm not sure if it still exists. However, knowing how quickly the people of Cabo have rebuilt, it wouldn't surprise me if they are back up and running.

J&J in Cabo,

LA CASA DEL HABANO LOS CABOS
Madero S/N Blvd. Marina y Guerrero
Centro
Los Cabos 23450
Baja California Sur

in Puerto Vallarta there is a good LCDH so no problem there smile.png

LA CASA DEL HABANO PUERTO VALLARTA
Aldama No. 170
Zona Centro
Puerto Vallarta 48300

Nothing in Mazatlan except a few Sanborns stores, but they dont keep them good.

I just went to Puerto Vallarta in January and can recommend the LCDH there. Nice selection but the wife and I got way too toasted drinking Havana club 7 anos in their smoking area. :-). The only thing I noticed was that the sticks were a little too humidified so just be aware of that. I wasn't complaining though!

Thanks for the help guys. Totally forgot about the hurricane hitting the Baja last fall.

I'll be sure to hit the LCDH in Puerto Vallarta sound great.

If you get by JJs have them whip you up a Mojito. Awesome.

I agree 100%

Also check out El Gato Gordo in Puerto Vallarta. It's just a few blocks away from the LCDH.

Agree with persianpirate. Really nice owner that let us try a bunch of his booze collection.

I'm really missing Mexico :-)

Great idea. Much easier to sell the wife on Mojito than just a cigar shop!
