cris77 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I am quite a fan of some light young single malts and Dan Murphy's has sale on some of them I snapped 3 bottles.. 2 link wood 10 yo and one bowmore 11 yo.. They are distilled in 1997-98 respectively. I opened the bowmore and I was quite surprised tonight.. Notes of salt peat citrus and even a bit of toffee flavours burst through the palate..unfortunately the 11yo bowmore has sold out just today but they do have a few hart brothers left for anyone that can appreciate a young floral and fruity single malt for under 50 bucks.. What a bargain! 1
Onelove Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Have you tried the linkwood yet? I might get one just to try tomorrow but any comments could be useful.
Ken Gargett Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 i was doing a piece on whisky a few years ago and someone sent me four different bottlings. fascinating to compare and some very enjoyable whiskies.
