smoke naked?

Its called Glen 20 great stuff but after 26 years of marriage I don't get to close to her for safety reasons.?

The only time I smell of smoke is after coming home from the local B&M. The clothes go off in the Laundry room(between the garage and kitchen)and in the washer. I go straight to the shower. If

One day she mentioned my coming home with stinky cigar clothes. My clothes get saturated when i spend a few hours smoking at the local cigar shop.

One day, during the Summer, I had an idea. Our garage is in the back of the house. So I pulled into the garage, closed the door, and stripped naked.

I walked into the kitchen where she was cooking dinner. I barked out, "hi honey am home and I do not stink." Walked over to the bar and fixed myself a drink. Never had an issue since.

Pretty much standard practice at my house.

My wife doesn't complain, she's very understanding, but I still try to be considerate. Come home, strip in the garage, clothes into the washing machine, then upstairs to shower.

She doesn't mind my smell when I've smoked a cigar, it's only when I've been enclosed with a bunch of cigar smokers for an extended period time (cigar lounge, friend's garage, etc) that she doesn't care for it, since the smell is much more stale.

As much as I love my cigars I hate the aftermath. I, for the most part, refuse to smoke in the car. After a cigar I don't sit on the couch or lay in bed. I try to keep from offending anybody, including myself, so I generally shower and change clothes after a good smoke.

She's not a fan, so I typically shower and use a special toothpaste/mouthwash before bed. For the most part she holds off on the griping as I used to dip/chew as well as smoke cigarettes when I drank when she met me. After a few years I agreed to give that up. Part of the deal was I wasn't giving up cigars. It's a case of detente if you will.
