smoke naked?

Its called Glen 20 great stuff but after 26 years of marriage I don't get to close to her for safety reasons.?

The only time I smell of smoke is after coming home from the local B&M. The clothes go off in the Laundry room(between the garage and kitchen)and in the washer. I go straight to the shower. If

Never try to offend non-smokers with the scent of smoke on your clothes - no matter how much you like it.

If you're ugly, they can close their eyes. If you sound bad, they can shut their ears or preoccupy themselves... But an offensive odour is [apparently] one of the worst atrocities one can commit.

I think this is one of the driving reasons why people detest smokers so much... Especially at the polls.

How does the cigar smell in your clothes go over with your wife gents ?

like the proverbial lead balloon.

Smoking in a cigar room really fries a good suit. Smoking on a balcony has almost no lasting effect at all. Throw a smoking jacket over your rig and you get surprisingly good protection (even in an enclosed space) that will keep your suit out of the dry cleaners.

Febreeze is of no help. There's another scent remover that works better, but I've forgotten the name at the moment. Will check it out when I get home.

Cigar smoke in my clothes? Usually I'll get a request to put the clothes in the wash and I'll comply...just easier that way. I mean, is it worth that much effort to hide the smell?

For dry clean only clothes you can drape them over a large fan or air filter. The air moving through the clothes will get rid of almost all scent within a few hours

My wife actually likes a little cigar perfume on me. :D am I lucky or am I lucky? :P

Yes you are lucky. Now someone should start a topic called, 'Post pictures of your wife smoking a cigar with you'. Will that get 10 to 20 responses at most I wonder?

Ok, I always have an extra shirt at work. After I have my lunch or late lunch smoke, back to office and change shirt.

It's funny, my wife doesn't mind the smell, but she says it reminds me of her grandfather. Not always a good thing , of you get my drift.

It's the other way around with me. She loves the smell of a cigar but she smokes ciggies and I hate the smell on her. Recently she started rolling her own so I got some nice aromatic pipe tobacco to mix in a little with the regular stuff. It adds a nice aroma without affecting taste too much and it makes it much more tolerable for me.

Lately she's been taking puffs off my cigar and really likes it. She hasn't smoked one on her own yet though.

And: My youngest daughter will smoke a cigar with me on occasion when she comes to visit.

I guess I'm really blessed too! -Dan

Nice solution DWC. My S/O doesn't mind it at all. If it's every day she might get a bit iffy though. Most days it just mixes with the diesel and oil......

This was my thought but there is a very strong need to watch where you ash.

I have a jacket i wear when smoking in the garage. Keeps most of the smell out, but it really helps if there's air circulating too.

Ya, you can say goodbye to date night that's for sure......my wife is pretty cool about it though, not so bad in the summer when outside but winter smoking in the garage is a whole different stink level lol

Assuming time off is granted we'll be at the farm Friday morning. If not , Friday evening!

When I smoke outside, the aroma doesn't stick to my clothes as much. Indoors; I get marinated. I find that tossing them into the washer when I'm done and taking a shower is the only solution that my wife approves of. :P I was recently in Montreal and partook in their indoor lounges. I draped my clothes over the A/C vent before I slept and when I woke up, there was no sign of cigar aroma.

I'm lucky, my wife grew up with her dad smoking cigars all day everyday. So granted she's not huge on giving me a hug the moment I finish a cigar lol she is pretty tolerant. But like said above, I will occasionally get that, "you remind me of my dad" hahaha pod.gif

My wife and I both used to smoke cigarettes but both quit at the same time so either we both smelled and neither cared or neither smelled and no one cared.

I kept smoking cigars but she does not mind the smell. If she does, she has never said a word about it. Her dad smokes cigars so she is used to it and grew up around it. I smoke outside and generally wash hands and brush teeth afterwards but don't usually change my clothes unless we are going out.

Parents hate the smell but they live 3000 miles away so don't get to complain about it much.
