GavLew79 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 After a busy weekend in the garden, in glorious 17degC sunshine, I lit this as a reward with a simple Cava and some Aberlour 10. A smooth colarado wrapper adorns this lovely vitola. The prelight draw is sweet and easy, a bit too loose to be perfect, but not far off. The first third meets expectations. I have been enjoying these occasionally and really crave the chocolatey hit. The opening is chocolate, sweet woodiness, leather and creamy smooth "textured" smoke. Delightful. The still air is conducive to dense, lingering wisps of smoke that enhance the aromas. What a cracking day for it. Not that I'd drink such an abomination, but this second third oozes mocha with a hazelnut syrup shot. Woody sweetness continues throughout. The last third brings complexity in the form of leather and nuts. A hint of fruit also, but alas, the first vestiges of youth become apparent. Consciously slowing down my smoking minimises it, but it goes out a few times as a result. The end is far surpassed by the start, simply due to the youthful notes, but these edges will smooth out in time. Whether I'll have any left is another thing! This box is a cracker. Cheers El Prez! 1

dflan82 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Nice review. The couple that I have had were just as you described. Very good cigar.
habanolover Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Sounds GOOD! One of my favorite smokes and a nice review.
