stunod Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Construction spot on perfect no visible seems ,deep chocolate color, PSP example. Draw is perfect. First few puffs, creamy coffee little chocolate and just a hint pepper on the tongue. As I finish the first third the pepper is gone now it's just cream and coffee with a little chocolate. Burn is a little wonky but it's very windy here. Slightly harsh through the nose. As I delve into the second third the flavors muted, very strange. I'm loosing the cream and chocolate flavors and there still a slight burn through the nose. By the way I'm paring this with Balvenie 14-year-old Caribbean Cask. It is an incredible single malt. Always pairs great with Montecristo flavor profile. Final third ...it's back, that beautiful cream coffee and chocolate. I lost it for about 15 minutes but is back in full strength. Smoooooooth as a gravy sandwich. This is why I smoke cigars. This is why I smoke Cubans. This is why I love Montecristo Petite Edmundos. So leave them all for me on the 24:24. 3
MiguelVU Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Congrats Stunod Awsome review, that Balvenie made my mouth waters LOL!!!, I think that pairing CC with Single Malts, especially the Islay peaty ones,is a match made in heaven!! Try CC with a good Tequila or a fine Mezcal,I can assure you re not gonna be dissapointed.
