FLB03TT Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 It's a one hour +\- personal indulgence that brings immense pleasure, that's why I smoke cigars. Most people don't get it, which adds to the enjoyment aspect for me- a secret society thing, I suppose. I could wax poetic about the flavors, perhaps the nicotine delivery element and the experience as a whole but that has all been illuminated above. It's just a special time in my day.
Orion21 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Both of my grandfathers smoked cigars. My Dad would smoke cigars outdoors when I was a kid, especially while camping or playing golf. My father-in-law smokes cigars and some of our best conversation have occurred while smoking. I associate cigars with strong men, happy times and brotherhood. Today I smoke cigars because I love the history, the artistry and they are 1-2 hour sticks of heaven. They are stress relievers, conversation starters and a way to bring likeminded people together to enjoy our beautiful lives. Add that they just plain rock!
Lasabar Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Super relaxing and I enjoy a bit of the isolation behind it. On holidays or special occasions I enjoy the social aspect as well.
