As the title says this is about the LCDH in Windsor, OH. Being in the states my only exposure to habanos is through online vendors. Currently I don't travel outside the country at all but I do have a passport.

I've always wanted to visit one of these establishments and just get to see first hand what all Cuba has to offer. I would love to see all these cigars people rave about on here in person. Does anyone have any experience with this store and have any feedback on it? It's only a three hour drive from here in Ohio.

Thanks!

It is a nice LCDH with a good selection of cigars. I know the franchise owner who runs it as a family business. A very nice guy with a great attitude. Canadian prices are high but you will able to buy the full selection of cubans there including recent LE releases, Canadian RE's and LCDH exclusive cigars.

Yeah I figured prices will be higher. I'm hopeful that seeing most of the current production cigars will help me figure out what I want to try and maybe I can buy some LEs or REs :).

Good selection. Nice people running the establishment. Also about a half block from the Tunnel exit into Windsor. But as tmac 77 states prices are high here in Canada. Once you want into the Humidor you will be like a kid in a candy shop...not knowing where to start. Good Luck

Thanks! Kid in a candy store is exactly what I am going for. I lose my sh*t walking into dealers here in ohio. Cannot imagine what will happen in a LCDH.

I've enjoyed my visits to this location, just wish they had a house roller!

I was up there a few years back for a bachelor party and I couldn't wait to get to the LCDH..We walked from our hotel we get there and I'm first one to the door...on the door there was a sign....Closed for Weekend due to wedding in the family...I was pissed....

Great shop, was there last year, helpful and friendly. Selection is good too, they have some aged stuff and most LEs. If you're looking for some 1966s I saw at least 10 boxes there, going for 1000+ bucks a pop..

Never been to a LCDH. Will visit one next time I am out in the world.

Would be amazing !!

I was just there not long ago. The guy that runs the place is such an incredibly nice guy. I talked to him for about an hour. He was explaining to me how ridiculous the laws there are and how lucky we are in the states.

I frequent this store! I have been all over cuba and as far as selection goes they have everything! Price is an issue here but at the same time being privy has its price. You can't smoke in the store anymore but you can't smoke on patios outside still and at the casino they have a really nice smoking balcony. If there is something specific you want?

During the warmer months there are cuban rollers that do tour the various cigar shops in Canada including the LCDH's. They are brought in from Cuba by Havana House and roll using 100% cuban leaf. If you want to know when they will be visiting contact the LCDH and put your name on the mailing list.

Where you at in Ohio. I'm in Columbus. Should meet up for a smoke sometime. Got a little selection of Cubans here....

Not too far then. If you ever find yourself in Columbus over the next month give me a shout. I travel a lot for work, but have the entire next month at home (been home 3 weeks total this year so far)

I make time in my travels. Last real relaxing smoke while traveling was in a cigar lounge in Roppongi district in Tokyo. Was awesome. Great selection of everything and lots of stuff had a bit of plume, and the whisky was great.

I hardly ever leave the state lol. Once I'm finished with school I have no idea where I will end up though.

Agreed with what Tom, Johnny, and others said. Jay is an awesome dude especially - dealt with him going back years ago now, but mainly been buying from the Toronto one in recent times.
