sharks Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Siglo VI are the go for me. When they are on they are fantastic, like most cigars. Are they the best, well thats up to the individuals personnel taste
polarbear Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Best Fresh- Sig VI or CPE Best Aged- Lancero Best in the world? I'd go with no, but its defiantly in the top 3 IMO
meatball41 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 esplendido, then sig vi. Only had one Behike, it was young but very good, 52 or 54, cant remember
StingMeadery Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Behike for me...some are outstanding most are inconsistent but I like the flavour profile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CatchNRelease Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I am a fan of both the Siglo Series (II and VI are my favorites) and I have a CoRo on a regular basis
ccman Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 If money is not an issue, I recommend buying multiple boxes of Espys, CCE, CoRo, Siglo III, IV and VI to smoke periodically and age....
Bill Hayes Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 2003 LE DC then 2003 Siglo 6 then Cohiba 1966 then Behike 54 then Sublimes then Robusto, Lanceros, Esplendido.
headstand Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Haven't smoked anywhere near enough Cohiba, either in number or Vitolas, to make an informed judgement, but the Espies I have taste kind of nice. I would by more if $ was not an issue.
Mckucci Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 These are the only Cohibas i smoke, in order: Corona Especial BHK 52 Robosto Siglo ii (on occasion, when i want a smaller stick)
RijkdeGooier Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Money no object - the original BHK with numbered bands, Cohiba Reserva 2003 and a few boxes Lanceros Diplomaticos Real world - aged Lanceros, CoEs, CoRo and Espy And to date they have represented a large part of my 'best' smoking experiences - only aged Sir Winston and Lusitanias have been in the same league for full bodied taste and complexity.
Surucipe Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Cohiba PE, 1966 and Lanceros - Thank you very much.
godpheonix Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 for cohibas, i'd pick siglo V, IV, VI, robustos. i've never had the 1966, i do have a box and need to light one up, but its a special occasion cigar for me. i'm not including the BKH 52 either, had my first one last september. average at best! hoping its because they are young, JAN 14 i think. gonna light one up this year to see if theres a change...hope so! and never had the CCE's yet but i hear its one of the best of the brand. maybe Rob can help me find a good box! hehe
Mycroft Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 The two best cigars I ever smoked were Esplendidos. One in 2007, the other last week - MUO Apr 2014.
danny Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I would easily say the Cohiba Siglo VI Gran Reserva. Everything was perfect about it. I went in having VERY high expectations, as I saved it for my wedding day, but it met and surpassed all of them. I ended up rushing it a bit more than I would've liked to due to time, but its was absolutely AMAZING in every way. After that, a Cohiba that was very close to that experience was a well-aged Esplendido. Fantastic cigar. mooth and complex. Lastly, I wouldn't say it would be the third best Cohiba, but a recent BHK from the original release really stood out to me. I think they're finally getting into their groove of warranting the price-tag. Excellent after 4 or so years.

I was quite disappointed; it's a good cigar but not better than a good Siglo VI or a BHK from the first batch. Way too pricey for the quality offered – like most Reservas IMHO.
