dangolf18 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Thought it'd be fun to start a new thread about what's your daily driver. Been driving my dad's 81 BMW for the past 5 years. Really fun old car to drive and it's been very reliable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Habana Mike Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 G37S Had it since 2008, only 30K miles on it. Paddle shift beats the hell out of a stick and clutch! Note: not my car, same year/model/color 1

Habana Mike Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 You dont do much driving! True, work from home or fly so most mileage is to/from the airport. Use the wife's car for trips and stuff.
Popular Post Stogieninja Posted March 22, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2015 Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Blue Steel, my new ride. She's got a bald tire, which is nice because we have balding in common. Something for us to talk about when we're hanging out and stuff. Now I know what you're thinking: "But Derek, that's a '96! You've never had such a new car! Can you handle it?" Don't worry, my friends. She may be the newest car I've ever had, but she has plenty of familiar features! 200k miles? Check. Broken driver's side window? Check. Squealing engine belts? Check. Cracked front turn light? Check. Stereo that turns off randomly? Check! It's almost like I'm back in my Mazda! She does have some features I've never had before, but she's doing her best to make me feel comfortable with them. For example, she has tinted windows, but just in case I was worried, some of it is peeling off as if to let me know that if it ever makes me uncomfortable, it can come off. Thoughtful, right? There's also air conditioning, another new feature for me. But it only gets a little cold, not very cold. I assume it's to keep me from freezing in case I try to abuse the new amenity. She's really just protecting me from myself. Anyways, be kind to her when you see her coming. Well... you'll probably hear her coming before you see her, but you know what I mean. 24

iGrizz Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Needed the extra space in a crew cab and it had more than enough power to tow my trailer and toys.
Rushman Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 back in the states I used to drive a Lincoln Navigator........driving a 10 or so year old Hyundai Santa Fe on the island.......wife drives an even older Hyundai Matrix......couldnt find two more perfect economical cars for a tiny caribbean island when the time comes to go back to the states, I hope i don't go back to my old ways of wanting nice rolling stock - i think I would be happy with a well used car in the long run - we shall see when the time comes
