You could have bought me a bottle of perfume...one would have been enough while you were in the buying mood

When it comes to impulsive shopping....I take some beating Cigars, wine, fishing gear, books, pens, clothing.....anything really. I just came back from the local pharmacy where I went to get a Flu

Most definitely not. I currently have an excel spreadsheet tracking all 24:24 or weekend deals, which I log daily, to get a better idea of what boxes I might try to get. I like having all the informa

I came on to the board to browse around last night at 2am. I started reading about certain box codes being amazing. I got up, checked several box codes, purchased 2-boxes through a vendor, got into bed, read some more, got up to check another box or two I had, purchased another 2 boxes, then read some other topics on the board.... Happens quite often actually, not with just cigars either...

Yes, I am VERY impulsive. So much that I even question myself sometimes.

Big time impulse buyer. Cigars are by far my worst. For a time it was dress shoes, still have a closet full of them. But cigars the last 5 years have blown everything else away. It really is crazy. Told myself I was not going to buy any cigars this week and its Tuesday and already bought 4 boxes, a 50 cab, and another 33 loose cigars! Always have been bad with cars. Any time I walk into a dealer I always leave with another car.

Started with football boots - still have 8 pairs in the garage and haven't played for 11 years.

Then moved to wine - have boxes full of expensive wine poorly stored from great Aus years like 98' and 2002. Last one I opened, a Wolf Blass Grey Label 98' was vinegar.

Then to cigars and tried to purchase lots of LE's and singles.

Then that got a touch expensive so moved on to fashionable sneakers - still have two washing baskets full in the cupboard.

Then to spearfishing gear and have 7 wetsuits, 9 spearguns, 5 masks, 3 sets of fins, 5 floats, 5 knives, an inflatable kayak and assorted gear to fill 3 plastic tubs and 3 gear and gun bags plus tents and camping gear.

Apparently I'm a hoarder according to the missus. We are moving apartments soon and I'll need to cull. Can't bear to part with any of it.

I have to stay away from my local Dan Murphys (a liquor outlet in Australia) as every time I'm in there I think about what is missing from my bar! I can't say that I try to keep away from 24:24 or 48:48 sales.

Yes, especially on cigars/fishing/hunting. I am doing much better on cigars though having established a specific budget/list of specific "to-buy" cigars. Fishing---well, trying to get that under control lol

I'm tying out 18-24 zebra midges, wd40's and copper johns.

High end optics have spoiled me too, once I went Zeiss I have never looked back, then I got bit by the SAKO bug and its been downhill ever since.

Whats bad is you go into the Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar to get some batteries and you leave with a $250 receipt.

I once went out to pick up some toner cartridge.

Came home with a new printer that also scans and photocopys, new mattress and a 3 piece outdoor setting.

Next time i am going to email stuff to work and print it out there.

I go on "kicks". One week it's rum, another, whiskey... then antiquarian books, then coins, etc. Can't stay focused on one thing! Not impulsive so much as streaky!

I'm the same way with Cigars.... No matter vs. Cuban or NC... If I like them a deal is too good to pass up.

BBF on the previous 24:24..... I bought a dress box before and didn't like a single one and gave them away... On sale???? Oh, many people like them all the time so let's get another SLB.

Esplendido's 4 pack on sale? May not need Super Expensive Esplendidos..... but emailed about HQ or above Robusto or Siglo boxes....... UGH!

I just did the same for Zino Platinum Grand Masters... 25 for $100 was too good to pass up.... I'm a sucker

If I see something I like, it turns out to be an virus and consumes me, my wife just looks and goes not again.

I need to down size my hobbies.

Cigars

Vinyl

Belt Buckles

Shoes

A lot of the time I have a good control of it but Ive walked out of places and drove away and came back because I couldn't stop thinking about the item. Usually its my wife saying just do it, "because you will not stop talking about it."
