polarbear Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 JL2 and RASS get my vote Provided you get half decent boxes I find they're good to go in around 18months of late 2
spirit Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I went with Epi2 and JL2 - dead important to get the right boxes though... 1
santela Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I voted for the CoRo considering how tasty my one year old box was. 2
forgop Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I had to go with the JL2. It's a firecracker as the Prez calls it. I love the PSD4, RASS, and Boli RC and while they get better in the long run, the JL2 is better early on. 4
dicko Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Epi 2 and BRC My faves are CORO and RASS but they are better with 2-3 years 1
Smallclub Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Based on recent purchases I'd go for JL2 and Exhib4, with the Epi2 close behind.
cigarbreak Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 From the Robustos I've had the opportunity to smoke i'd pic the Picadores and Regios in a heartbeat. Had a picadores last night and oh my word it was bliss.
tmac77 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Not a true Robusto, but the Upmann Connie No 1 got my vote. 2
rtrimbath Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I went with Epi2 and PSD4. The Epi2 particularly though. If I only had one vote that's what I'd choose.
amosnaim Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Guys, I hear you about your selections. All good, but those who haven't tried yet a fresh SLR Regio hand picked by the Pres, you should do so. Fantastic smoke when young. 1
Carts Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Voted RASS and EPI 2,. Then probably D4's, I like their kick when they're young. Coro, Choix, BRC, and Regios don't do anything for me when they're fresh
dflan82 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 BRC and Regios get my top two. 2013 HdM Epi2 and CORO have also been very good. Need to get my hands on some JL2's
PapaDisco Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Picking blind I'd go the predictable PSD4 followed very, very closely by the Epi 2, but I love to experiment and will gladly try a robusto new to me rather than one I know well. However if I'm hosting someone and want a reliable, but young, robusto to give them; I will reach for an El Presidente inspected PSD4 and serve it up! Wiping the grubby fingerprints off it first of course . . .
mgravito Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Ex4. I haven't had a moment where these weren't completely smokeable. Can't say the same for just about anything else on this list.
cigarbreak Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I find it hilarious that Montecristo Open Master has zero votes 3
