There's nothing wrong with that song! It's a lovely tune that was very popular. Kyu Sakamoto was the first asian to get onto the US Billboard Hot 100. Tragically died in the JAL flight 123 crash in the 80's.

leftimatic Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 The Carpenters..... (They Long To Be) Close to you.... I will shake my head in disgust. I was hoping for some Zeppelin or something. I was most likely conceived while my parents listened to Suspicious Minds by Elvis not as disappointing just kind of creepy to think about. I wonder what they were drinking?
Miner Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Well, I'm not telling the year but apparently the song was "The Three Bells by The Browns" - never heard it! Ditto. Are we twins?? Cheers
Habana Mike Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Ditto. Are we twins?? Cheers Scary thought mate though I expect we were born a few thousand miles apart! About 11,524 to be specific unless your Mum was in Virginia at the time. We are both home brewers and cigar fanatics so who knows? 1
Borgy Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 It had to be Mrs Robinson Simon and bloody Garfunkel I'm shattered that explains a lot if my parents where playing me that to put me to sleep.
