wabashcr Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Shadow Dancing by Andy Gibb. Shadow Dancing by Andy Gibb Andy Gibb - Shadow Dancing [Official Video] (Gibb TV): https://youtu.be/awGgULTK2v0 Shadow Dancing, by Andy Gibb That song either had some staying power, or there were 4 of us born in a relatively small window of one another.
Rye Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I got Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata On a serious note, these song dates are off by a few months as per release date. Fun system... But not exactly accurate. Party pooper mode/ off. Back in the days before the internets & cellphones, and computers even, it took quite awhile for tunes to hit the top of the charts. The million hits in a day just wasn't possible as the records needed to be literally transported to radio stations, prescreened, then introduced to the listeners, who in turn had to phone in, or more often mail in (like with paper, ink, and a stamp) they're votes for requests to play their faves. Taking months, and sometimes years for newer bands, to get playtime and recognition on the charts, which were still exposed to censorship and preferential treatment.

ewipper Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I'm not sure what's more upsetting, that mine is from the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever or that it tells me that I was born 20 million minutes ago.
