Popular Post El Presidente Posted March 2, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2015 As some of you may have heard, Hamlet has moved himself and his family to the US in the past couple of months. Hamlet is a friend to many and I consider him a brother of mine. Hamlet loves Cuba with a passion. He is Cuban to his bones. Hamlet is one of the most sincere, hard working and genuine people I know. It was his love of the leaf, people and passion that earned him a preeminent position among the finest cigar rollers in the world. The decision to leave is one that he has wrestled with for a long time. In the end his decision to leave was to do the best for his family and to challenge himself to be the best he can possibly be. It has nothing to do with current US/Cuba political changes. Every man and woman deserves the opportunity to challenge themselves and enact their dreams. Hamlet is working with Rocky Patel in Naples Florida. He is working in the Divan there (Burn) and finding his feet in a whole new world. If you are passing by that neck of the woods, pop in and say hello to one of the absolutely great guys of our industry. Hermano, you can now join the forum and keep us in the loop as to how you are finding this "whole new world". On behalf of myself and our members we wish you every success and support 16

CaptainQuintero Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Never had the opportunity to meet Hamlet yet or try one of his sticks but the reputation of the quality of both the man and cigars are legendary. Good luck on the new adventure!
madandana Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Good luck to you and your family Hamlet. We'll be sure to drop in when were in the neighborhood.
MPS Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Best wishes to Hamlet and his family for an easier and more successful life here in the USA.
CUBANO Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 As a Cuban-American I'm very elated to here this. It's very difficult to start a new life in a different country but with his knowledge of cigars and hard work he and his family will achieve things that they could only dream about in Cuba. Mucha Suerte y Felicidades
smokenj Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I'm new here, so I don't truly know him, but I wish Hamlet all the best in his new adventures. May this bring you and your family everything that you deserve and wish for.
wabashcr Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Good for him. Sorry I never had the chance to try one of his famous custom rolls, but I'm glad he's able to make a better life for his family. I hope he's able to truly enjoy the fruits of his labor, which I'm sure will be plentiful. I wish him all the best.
Puros Y Vino Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Was shocked to hear about this yesterday. Having had the pleasure to meet with him many times I am very happy for him and his family. He is quite the cigar ambassador and an overall engaging person. The FL cigar scene is going to be richer going forward with him around. I can't wait to see what he gets up to. As soon as the weather lifts, I'm smoking a Flying Pig in his honour. 2
Cigar Surgeon Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Best wishes to Hamlet, but shocking news personally. I have met him many times I am saddened that I will not be able to hang out with him in Cuba in the future. He's going to do very well in the US he has a great business sense and is a natural people person. Needless to say I will be sitting on my Hamlets that I grabbed in November and smoking them sparingly. 3
